Claw of doom
Something is wrong with my mouse hand. I don’t think it’s carpal tunnel; I’ve heard that ‘tingles’. This isn’t tingling. It’s aching. There was actually a bruise on the inside of my thumb. No doubt having a full-time desk job, along with moonlighting on game work is at the root of this tragedy. The flood of new videogames coming out right now isn’t helping either.
Hurry up with the cybernetic hand already!

Steve, I’m having trouble working on stuff (DO, new games, etc.) because my hand is hurting like mad, which is why I mentioned it.

hope your hand is better soon. Really lookin’ forward to a downloadable version. Maybe even no time limit mode? that would be fun. Also, can i link to my page when i get it up and running?

I get that myself…. Most days, it’s just my right hand… some days it’s both. Theragesic(sp?) tends to help… rub it on and leave it for a few minutes…. then you can wash it off but it still works. I’ve had days so bad I couldn’t even twist the top off a Coke. Days where picking up my keys seems like a nightmare… It sucks, but it goes up and down. Take a break- take care of yourself.

@Steve - Sorry, yes I have been avoiding everything computer related lately as much as possible. To answer your other question, the only other finished game I’ve done is Pool Madness. Unfortunately the scoreboard isn’t working properly right now (that’s becoming a theme with my games). Another thing about that game is that it was actually an extension of a Flash tutorial I worked through on collision detection; it isn’t entirely my creation.
@guppyman - Thanks for the advice. It is feeling better lately. Oddly it often feels worse when I am away from the computer…almost like my hand is aching to get back to work.

Probably something you hadn’t anticipated, but Inspector Gadget will totally fear you once you have your cybernetic claw.
Failing that, you could just look into the Hellboy hand as an alternative.

I don’t know if I could operate a mouse with a Hellboy hand. Guess I would be too busy fending off demonic worshippers and cultists to do much programming anyways though. Samurai Strings will come out when the artist gets to work and stops wasting time on blogs.

@Steve - I’m still here. I don’t have any news or updates on the game yet so I haven’t been posting.
@dxs - Wanmaster’s score was false and has been removed. I try to keep an eye on the score charts for that kind of thing; I appreciate people letting me know
